Boot’s Emulsion bottle

A bottle for Boot’s Emulsion. The shape of the bottle and lettering are based on those of a popular brand of the time, ‘Scott’s Emulsion’, with which this own-brand product was competing. Boot’s had opened their first store in this location (Great Yarmouth) a few years earlier, in 1895.
