Crockery

Assorted crockery from labourers’ rubbish, Kent. Mocha ware to the left, transfer-printed ware to the right (mostly in blue ‘Willow Pattern’). This type of crockery was cheaply manufactured and used universally. There is no hand-painted ware, which would have been more expensive.
