Found one of these bottles without a top whilst digging in Osgodby, Yorkshire, UK. There was no registration number present & the shape of the letter ‘B’ was slightly different The underside of the bottle was embossed with the number 6 (or possibly 8) presumably the mould number. A mold seam ran up the entire length of the bottle including the threaded finish. Any thoughts on the date?
I dug a bottle here in the USA “B.W.&CO.” on the
bottom of the bottle. Bottles fromthis dig are from the 40’s – 60’s mostly.
No other marks. Would this be the same company?
Yes, Doug, that would be the same company. Thanks for the info, Tom
