Mug with proverb ‘Little strokes fell great oaks’, depicting a man cutting down a tree. The maxim on the other side, with its illustration, has been lost. It ended in ‘[?ho]use’. This is very similar to the ‘Temperance Mug’ (see separate entry), which divides scenes/ proverbs with the same bands of foliage.
